Toy Swap at the Saturday Circle

On the 9th of March 2024, we had the honour of joining Randwick Council for the official launch of the Saturday Circle and the first Toy Swap event of 2024 at Randwick Sustainability Hub. It was a truly rewarding experience to demonstrate our mission and work with the community, and the response from parents, carers, and children was overwhelmingly positive!

Our partnership with Randwick City Council is truly incredible, as it enables us to collaborate with like-minded organisations and provides our participants with more opportunities to gain hands-on sustainability experiences. At our previous The Saturday Circle events, we witnessed many priceless moments, especially when we saw happy kids watching their toys find new homes.

While the statistics of 27 million toys ending up in Australian landfills each year and toys contributing to 6% of global plastic waste may be alarming, they are the very reasons why we are taking action now. We aim to provide a platform for everyone to give back to our environment and build a better future for the next generations. Let's make a difference together!
