About the Event

Joy of Giving Toy Reimagined Workshop

Bring your preloved toys and books along for a fun, creative experience for all ages! At our Toy Reimagined Workshop, you’ll discover the joy of swapping toys, decorating and reimagining preloved items. It’s an opportunity for families to enjoy hands-on creativity, share the joy of play, and discover how small actions can make a difference to our community and the environment.

What to expect on the day?

  • Swap and discover: Bring a preloved toy to swap and take home something different.

  • Reimagine and decorate: Get creative and give a preloved toy a fresh look.

  • Prepare a gift with care: Help prepare a toy or book to be passed on to a child in a remote NSW community.

  • Play, share and care: Enjoy a meaningful experience together while keeping quality toys and books in circulation.

What to bring?

Your children are invited to bring a maximum of two of their own toys. One toy is for swapping at the workshop and one toy to be passed on to another child through our charity network.

You are welcome to bring toys, games, and books in preloved condition that are clean, safe and in good working condition.

Any surplus toys will be shared through our charity network, reaching children and families in remote communities and other communities that can benefit from these resources.
