About the Event

Join Joy of Giving at the Social Enterprise Festival for a heartwarming experience that combines the joy of giving with the power of community. Our mission is simple: to find preloved toys new homes and create lasting connections through shared stories.

We invite you to participate by bringing one piece of a toy or book, no bigger than a small backpack, to swap with fellow members of our loving community. This act of generosity not only gives your preloved item a new life but also opens the door for new adventures and cherished memories to be made by others.

But it doesn't end there. We encourage you to attach a note with a small story about the toy, allowing its history and significance to be passed on to the next person. These stories create a beautiful tapestry of shared experiences and remind us of the joy and magic each toy has brought into someone's life.

The Social Enterprise Festival provides a space for us to come together, celebrate the spirit of giving, and strengthen our connections with one another. It's an opportunity to embrace the power of community and make a difference in the lives of children and families.

Join us at the Joy of Giving booth, where the act of giving becomes a source of inspiration, gratitude, and love. Together, let's create a world where preloved toys find new homes, hearts are touched, and the joy of giving shines bright.

Joy of Giving Network acknowledges the traditional owners of the lands on which our office is located, the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation, and we pay our respects to all Elders past and present, and to the children of today who are the Elders of the future.
