For ages 16+ | Suggested donation: $20

Joy of Giving is pleased to present a free community workshop designed to support and improve our collective wellbeing. This session is part of our ongoing commitment to creating healthier, more connected communities through engaging, educational experiences.


Workshop Overview:

Join David McLeod for a powerful and engaging 90-minute presentation exploring the science and art of better breathing. Discover how breathing well can enhance your health, reduce stress, and improve performance. Learn simple, evidence-based techniques that support the nervous system and overall well-being.

You’ll explore how breathwork can be a transformative tool for:

  • Anxiety and stress reduction

  • Sleep hygiene and quality

  • Asthma and allergy management

  • Snoring reduction

  • Craniofacial development

  • General performance and well-being


Discover how simple, evidence-based breathing exercises can sharpen your physical and mental edge while supporting your long-term health.

This is a free event, but we welcome a voluntary donation of $20 to support Joy of Giving’s ongoing community programs.


Meet Your Facilitator:

David McLeod – M.Mus (AIM), Dip Ed St (CoT, Lond)Certified Buteyko Breathing Instructor


David is a seasoned educator and wellness practitioner with over 30 years of experience across the arts, music, and education. As founder of Big Breath Productions and a lecturer at the Australian Institute of Music, David combines science and creativity to empower individuals with the tools to breathe better and live well.

He has delivered transformative workshops for Sydney’s Nurse Watch agency, Spot Therapy Hub, McDonald College, the Talent Development Project, and the Blue Guitar Project and The Australian Institute of Music and Wollongong Conservatorium of Music

David also speaks conversational Mandarin.
